Making A Purchase
We have made shopping very simple for you. Just browse our Departments. When you wish to add a product to your shopping basket simply click on the words "ADD TO CART", changing the quantity as required.
When you have finished your selection, click on "My Cart" and you will be taken to the checkout page. Once there you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment by Mastercard, Visa. Debit Card & Electron and Solo. All payments are in GB Pounds. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

First Class Packet Post
Delivery of all orders to the UK is one flat charge of £3.99 regardless of your size of order.
UK mainland only excluding highlands and Islands
48 hour courier £8.99
Next day delivery available by phone only is £9.99
Standard Delivery of Cakes Cookies & Crafts Shop products vary according to the delivery destintation and the value of your order.
For orders placed that are bulky or exceed the weight allowed for the order total a surcharge will need to be applied.
We will calculate this and email you with a choice to pay the additional charges or cancel your order.
All Standard International Delivery items are shipped either by Royal Mail or Courier, at our discretion.
This service does not provide tracking or insurance should goods not be delivered.
Should you require tracking or insurance for your goods, this can be provided at an extra charge, please email us for further details before you place your order.
We are not responsible or have control over charges or taxes for importing the package into your destination county, nor are we responsible for time delays caused by this also. Should your order be delayed it will be necessary for you to query this with your Customs and Postage authorities.
We are also not responsible for the cost of returned goods due to the non payment of Tax and customs charges.
Please Note for all Deliveries.
Should you choose to enter a place of delivery, rather than in person to the delivery address i.e. back of the garden gate, in wendy house, behind plant pot, we will not be held responsible for the items should they not be received.
If your order fails to arrive we will require you to make a written, signed statement of loss/none delivery.
Notes for International Deliveries
Deliveries made to PO Boxes (other than UK) are done so at your own risk. A proof of posting will be obtained however we do not guarantee delivery. Where possible please have your goods delivered to residential or business address.
We endeavour to despatch all U.K orders within 24 -48 hours of the order being placed, however please allow a minimum of 7 working days from the day of dispatch for delivery of your goods to avoid disappointment.
Please be aware that Royal Mail First Class Packet Post is not a guaranteed service.
Royal Mail First Class Packet Post service can take up to 15 working days to complete a delivery, although this is quite unusual.
Delivery with the courier service is a working day service only and will require a signature to confirm receipt. Orders that can not be delivered will be returned to the depot and a second delivery attempt will be made the following working day. You can always collect the parcel from the depot.
The delivery time of your order will depend on the service chosen, please ensure the correct delivery method is chosen in line with when you require your order to arrive.
Should a product be out of stock or no longer available we will advise you by email.
Next Day Guaranteed Delivery is a working day service and is only available by telephone at a cost of £9.99 per order.
Courier delivery is also a working day service.
For all orders that are not received, we require the failure of delivery to be reported to us in writing within 28 days of the date of purchase. Failure to do so will forfeit any subsequent claim.
For European orders we advise a minimum of 7-14 days for delivery.
For all other international deliveries please allow a minimum of 35 days.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
Should you not wish to wait for this item to return to stock you can contact us to cancel or to substitute your item.
Back ordered goods do not incur any further postage charges.

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.
When checkout is completed, you will be given the option to pay via SecureTrading.
Credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. You will receive a confirmation that your payment has been processed.
Please be aware that at no point is Cakes Cookies & Crafts Shop passed any details regarding your credit card.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of dispatch in its original "Unused Condition" and we will refund the product price. This will not include your postage costs. Products that have been removed from their original packaging or have been used will not be eligible for return. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All delivery errors, shortages, or damages must be reported to us within 2 working days of delivery, as we accept no liability after this time.

We will not refund or replace any item which has become damaged as a result of neglect or misuse.

Items which arrive damaged or faulty must be notified in writing within 14 days of receipt.
We will replace or refund the damaged goods as required. If we require the item(s) returned, we will pay the cost of the return postage via 1st class post for which you will be required to obtain a proof of postage from the dispatching post office.
Incorrectly ordered or unwanted goods
Must be returned within 14 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for a refund. Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened.
Please note we do not accept returns for food items.
We can not accept responsibility for the safe return of these goods. Therefore it is advisable that a proof of postage is obtained, should the goods fail to reach us, this will aid in any claim you may wish to make with your chosen courier.
Please enclose a copy of your invoice indicating your Returns Reference Number and the items being returned. We will be happy to refund you for the returned items providing they are returned in their original condition, less the original postage charge(s)

Every care has been taken to describe items as accurately as possible, however slight variations may occur with colour reproduction or text descriptions. All product sizes quoted are approximate. Cakes Cookies and Crafts Shop.co.uk shall not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from breach of duty in contract or any other way. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights.
These User Terms are governed by the laws of England, and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our Web site are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
