Magi-Cake® Strips have sold by their millions over the last 30 years and have proved to be a fantastic aid in the art of successful cake baking.

  • When the cake tin is wrapped with a moistened strip the baking process is equalised to control the heat so the cake bakes evenly.

    The aluminium infused fabric on the outside insulates the strips to retain the moisture throughout baking period, eliminating high-rise centres, creaked tops and crusty edges.

    Instructions for the Magi- Cake Strip
    1. Mix cake as directed on package or recipe.
    2. Pour into well-greased pans.
    3. Saturate strip in cold water. Run fingers down the surface to squeeze out excessive moisture. (Do not wring.)
    4. Bring filled pans to edge of counter or table. With aluminized side OUT, wrap strip around outside of pan; and with tab overlapping, pin firmly into place. (For oblong pans, pin two strips together - overlapping does not interfere with its effectiveness.)
    5. Place in oven and bake as directed.
    6. Remove strip, fold and store away - to be used again and again for more beautiful, moist cakes to come.


    This pack contains 4 strips measuring 36,43,49 and 56 in. long x 1 1/2 wide.
    This provides enough for one each: 10, 12, 14, 16 in. round pans
